FATIMA HUSAIN (doctoral intern)

Hi, I’m Fatima! I’m a doctoral trainee in Clinical Psychology at Walden University and currently completing my internship at Healthy Minds. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely.

I have experience working with individuals facing stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, and I’m especially interested in how identity, resilience, and self-awareness influence mental health. My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate—I draw from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and person-centered techniques to help each client find strategies that feel meaningful and sustainable.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading, staying active, exploring new places, and finding good coffee spots. I believe that therapy is a space for growth, reflection, and empowerment, and I’m honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing and self-understanding.
